Eric Anderson began his career in 1981 in the investment department of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection & Insurance Company. He later worked in the equity research unit of Connecticut Bank & Trust Company (CBT) before joining Hartford National Bank, the predecessor of Connecticut National Bank/Shawmut Investor Advisors. During his 10-year tenure, he achieved the position of Vice President in the equity research department.
Eric has been a Chartered Financial Analyst holder and member of the CFA Institute since 1984, in addition to being a member the Hartford Society of Chartered Financial Analysts (HCFA), where he served as both president and board member. He joined HFM in 1996 as the firm’s Director of Equity Research.
His responsibilities include client interaction, portfolio management, coordinating equity research sources and workflow, analyzing economic data, and recommending equity holdings.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
