Dario Quiros spent 12 years as Vice President of Sales at Smith Barney & Co., Inc. before being invited by Kidder, Peabody & Co. to establish a Hartford branch of their brokerage. He remained with Kidder for nine years, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President and working with both institutional and individual clients.
In 1989, Dario founded the broker-dealer Hartford Financial Group, Inc., along with the investment advisory firm Hartford Financial Management, Inc.—now also known as HFM Wealth Management. As the HFM team has grown and assumed broader operational responsibilities, Dario continues to serve as owner, an investment committee member, and a client relationship manager.
He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University and a B.A. in Literature from Middlebury College.
